چکیده
The objective of this study was to evaluate dry matter (DM) production Urochloa brizantha cv. Marandu and ammonia volatilization in response rates sources enhanced-efficiency N fertilizers. experiment took place a pasture area, two growing seasons. A randomized block design with four replications used, 4 × 2 + 1 factorial arrangement, consisting (Urea—UrConv; Ammonium nitrate—AN; Urea NBPT—UrNBPT; Duromide—UrDuromide) nitrogen (100 200 kg ha−1 year), plus treatment without fertilization (control). At both rates, from UrConv100/200 greatest. Ammonia less after UrNBPT UrDuromide application, values similar AN. losses tend be lower than UrNBPT. use efficiency influenced by the rates. greater that UrConv. With regard total DM leaf percentage increased all sources, years. reduce compared Urconv, resulted relative Marandu, comparison UrNBPT, AN Urconv.

Background & Aims of the Study: Nitrogenous compounds could directly create many problems for human's health and the environment. Thus, removal of nitrogenous compounds is necessary. Among the most important problems, decreasing dissolved oxygen, toxicity for aquatics, eutrophication, converting aerobic medium into anaerobic one and corrosion could be noted. The aim of this stu...
